Chromebooks for K12 Schools

Building off the popular Google Apps for Education, Google has developed and released several models of Chromebooks aimed at the K-12 market.  Chromebooks require little maintenance and setup from technology staff, booting out of the box in under ten seconds.  Students and staff use Google accounts to login to devices and utilize Google Drive to store data and applications; this allows users to grab any Chromebook for any task.

Chromebooks utilize the standard word processing and publication apps, as well as apps available through the Chrome OS store.  Many of these apps can also be utilized offline, and all data backs up automatically to your cloud-hosted Google Drive when connected to the Internet.

Lenovo Chromebooks utilize the rugged, sturdy body of the x131E – a favorite laptop model of many K12 technology programs.  The Lenovo Chromebook also boasts USB and HDMI connectivity along with a webcam.
