ITS Named to Ingram Micro’s Inaugural SMB500 List

Ingram Micro has named Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS) to its list of the 500 most successful reseller customers, ranking them 74th (of nearly 20,000 Ingram Micro partners) in growth over the last three years.

What does this mean for ITS? We started our business in 2008 with a business plan focused on data and its place in the SMB and K-12 markets. Businesses and institutions were quickly using and producing data and unprepared in terms of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

As we approached prospective customers, though, the response was this: Data protection is great…but can you also do this? Local businesses and schools were searching for a service provider that could not only manage their data and provide business continuity solutions, but also a provider that could guide and support IT purchases and practices.

Our business evolved to meet these needs, growing from three employees in 2008 to eight in 2012. The 30+ schools that depend on us for daily IT support, specialized network support or hardware purchases and installation account for 60% of our annual revenue. SMB clients utilizing the same services round out our income. Our original service offering, data hosting solutions, is still a valuable service for our regional/national clients that use ITS only for data storage.

As evidenced by our recent naming to Ingram Micro’s SMB 500 list, ITS continues to grow. We are constantly learning and improving to meet the changing and diverse technology needs of our clients, and striving to enhance the technology skills of our clients and communities through our services and interactions.
